Chocolate Gravy

Ok, so since I didn't get the recipe out for everyone while we were there, here goes.

In a sauce pan heat 2 c of milk over med/med-high heat. You only want to heat it, not cook it.

In a bowl, mix:

1 c sugar
2 heaping tbsp all purpose flour
1 heaping tablespoon of Hershey's cocoa
1/2 tsp salt

whisk dry ingredients in with the milk (don't have to wait for milk to heat)
then use a flat bottom spatula to stir the gravy constantly, making sure to scrape the bottom of the pan constantly to prevent scorching. Heat until the desired thickness.

Serve over crumbled biscuits. Pillsbury's Grands are best!

I don't have my recipe card in front of me, so if this is not correct, for those of you with the recipe, let me know.

Prom Picture

Here's the shot I like to refer to as the Prom Picture. We used to line the boys, their friends, and their prom dates up on the stairs for pictures before the Prom, hence the name.

From the top: Lavender Ackerly, Lily of Flitwick, CentyB, Cassandra Puddlemere, Esmerelda Beanswallow, Tess (not in the swap, but we did give her a Potter name that I can't recall at the moment), Queen Frysia, Arabella Moody and the original Ophelia Crookshanks. Just an amazing group of women, if I must say so myself!

THEY'RE HERE!!!!!

A bunch of relatively subdued knitters have descended on the castle (I think everyone is tired from traveling). It is Kims' birthday, so we went to celebrate, Texas Roadhouse style. They sang to her--she was mortified. I tried to snap her picture, but it didn't take. Here are some pics from today--enjoy!

Ophelia Crookshanks brought the Harry Potter Clue game--we're all going to play tomorrow night!

Ophelia Cropkshanks rocks!

We're heeeeeere!

The Stitches Witches have arrived in Baltimore!  Queen Frysia arrived at the Muggle airport with her royal carriage to whisk Arabella Moody, Cassandra Puddlemere and me off to Castle Fierce.  We were soon joined by the real Ophelia Crookshanks and her cousin, Ginevra.

That's Ginny on the left and Casper hiding behind the flowers on the right.

The women have officially invaded the castle and met the Princes.  Well two of them.  They are very gallant ladies, but Casper and I have dibs :)

Keep an eye on this space for more tales of our weekend at Stitches!
